Ingredients to make Beetroot Paratha
Wheat flour – 2 cups
Grated beetroot – 1.5 cup
Ginger paste – 1/2 tsp
Cumin – 1/2 tsp
Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
Dry mango – 1/2 tsp
Ajwain – 1/2 tsp
Green coriander leaves – 2 tbsp
Green chili – 1
Oil – 3 tbsp
salt – as per taste

Beetroot Paratha Recipe
To make beetroot paratha, first wash and clean the beetroot and then grate it. Now put 2 tsp oil in a pan and heat it on medium flame. After the oil is hot, add ginger paste and chopped green chillies and fry it. After frying it for a minute, mix grated beetroot and half a teaspoon of salt. Stirring it with a small spoon, fry it for 2 minutes, then add 2 tablespoons of water, cover the pan and cook for 10 minutes.
When the beetroot is fully cooked, turn off the gas and let the mixture cool down. After the mixture cools down, blend it with the help of a mixer. No need to add extra water to grind it. Make a smooth paste by chopping the beetroot. After making the paste, take it out in a bowl and keep it aside.

Now put wheat flour in a bowl and mix one spoon of oil and a pinch of salt in it. Now add cumin, garam masala, dried mango powder, carom seeds to the flour and mix it well. Now add prepared beetroot paste, green coriander leaves. Now add water little by little and knead the dough. Knead well till the dough becomes smooth and soft.

Now put a nonstick pan/tawa on the gas to heat it. In the meantime, make dough balls. Now take a ball and roll it to make a paratha. When the griddle becomes hot, first put one spoon of oil on it and spread it all around, then put the paratha and roast it. After roasting for some time, flip the paratha and apply oil on the other side. Roast the paratha till it becomes golden and crispy from both the sides, then take it out in a plate. Similarly make all the parathas. Tasty and healthy breakfast of beetroot paratha is ready.
